HISTORY
Color World of Printing was originally founded in 1971, as “Kwik Kopy Printers”, a drive-up copy shop on Fifth Street in Springfield, Illinois. After about a year, our owner purchased a larger offset printing company in Jacksonville, Illinois, called “The Village Printer” which expanded the organization’s printing capabilities to a full service commercial printing company.
After several years of expansion, the Jacksonville shop merged with Kwik Kopy and moved to a new location on Dirksen Parkway in Springfield Illinois, renaming the combined businesses to become “Color World of Printing.”
And almost fifty years later … we continue to love what we do. The passion we have for our work enables us to take ownership of our clients’ projects as we constantly strive to deliver the highest-quality products possible.
